Make-Up Lessons
Yes! Virtual make-up lessons (via Zoom, FaceTime, etc.) may be arranged in certain cases when in-person attendance isn’t possible. Please coordinate with your teacher in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate based on availability.
Make-up lessons must be scheduled within two weeks of the missed class and cannot be rolled over or credited toward future tuition. We reserve time each week specifically for each student, so tuition secures your ongoing spot on the schedule.
Our opening hours are:
Monday to Friday : 1PM-8PM
Saturday: 10AM- 1PM
Sunday : OFF
During these hours we provide: Initial one-to-one consultation , Health & Fitness Assessments , Bespoke Training Program Planning , Custom Nutrition Plans & recipes. Weekly Progress Reviews
In most cases, lessons are reserved for the enrolled student. However, if you’d like to send a sibling or friend in their place, please contact your teacher ahead of time to see if that’s an option for that particular lesson.
We understand that emergencies happen. Please notify your teacher as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to work with you to arrange a make-up, subject to availability.
We ask that families limit make-up requests to occasional, unavoidable conflicts. Our teachers maintain a full schedule, and consistent weekly attendance helps ensure the best progress for your student and fairness for others.
PRACTICE EXPECTATIONS
Practice needs vary by age and level, but a good general guideline is 15–30 minutes per day for beginners, gradually increasing as skills develop. The goal is consistency — even a short daily session is more effective than one long session the day before the lesson.
Students should focus on what was assigned during the lesson, including warm-ups, specific songs, exercises, and theory (if applicable). Teachers often write down weekly goals or practice steps to help guide each session at home.
You may request your teacher send these goals or practice steps through Opus1.
It’s normal for motivation to ebb and flow. Encouragement, structure, and routine make a big difference. Try setting a consistent practice time each day and celebrating small wins. If motivation becomes a recurring struggle, feel free to check in with the teacher for ideas and support.
For younger students (especially under age 8), a parent’s presence can be extremely helpful — even just to read assignment notes or encourage focus. As children grow more independent, your involvement may shift to gentle reminders and encouragement rather than sitting in on each session.
We understand that occasional busy weeks happen. If a student is frequently unprepared, the teacher will check in with the student and parents to explore the cause and offer support. If lack of preparation continues long-term, we may need to pause or discontinue lessons to allow space for a more productive learning experience.
Contact & Communication
Email helps teachers stay organized and maintain a record of communication. Texts can easily get lost in the flow of daily messages. Using email for lesson and scheduling questions ensures your message is seen and followed up on appropriately.
Yes. If you’re running late or need to cancel last-minute due to illness or an emergency, a quick text is fine. For anything else—like rescheduling, general questions, or future planning—please send an email.
Teachers do their best to respond within 24–48 hours. If it’s been more than two business days with no reply, feel free to follow up or contact the school directly.
We ask that all non-urgent communication go through email. Most teachers are in back-to-back lessons during teaching hours and may not be available to take calls or respond immediately.
You may also submit questions on Opus1 but know the comment section is not actively monitored by staff 24/7.
Lesson cancellation & termination
Unfortunately, we do not hold lesson slots during a student’s absence. This ensures fairness to both teachers and other families waiting for openings. When you’re ready to return, we’ll be happy to check current availability and get you back on the calendar.
If you give notice in the middle of a month, a prorated tuition amount will be due to complete the 30-day cancellation period. You’re welcome to attend lessons during that time.
Lesson time slots are non-transferable between students. If a sibling or friend is interested in lessons, they’re welcome to join our waitlist or sign up based on available openings.
When you’re ready to return, just contact us and we’ll place you back on the schedule based on current availability. A new invoice will be issued at that time.
