An Oak Hill Music School

From Chords to Creativity – We Teach It All
We’re not a one-size-fits-all program. At Blue Frog School of Music, we believe that music education should be engaging, inspiring, and tailored to the student. Our teachers blend technical instruction with creativity, helping each student explore genres like classical, jazz, opera, theater, rock, pop, folk, blues, and more—all while developing solid musicianship.

At Blue Frog, we believe music connects people in powerful ways—through movement, emotion, and shared experience. As a leading music school in Austin, our mission is to spark a lifelong love of music by nurturing creativity, building strong foundations, and supporting each student’s unique path. Whether you’re aiming for the stage or simply playing for joy, our dedicated instructors, private lessons, and engaging programs are here to help you grow.

Yes! Virtual make-up lessons (via Zoom, FaceTime, etc.) may be arranged in certain cases when in-person attendance isn’t possible. Please coordinate with your teacher in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate based on availability.
Make-up lessons must be scheduled within two weeks of the missed class and cannot be rolled over or credited toward future tuition. We reserve time each week specifically for each student, so tuition secures your ongoing spot on the schedule.
In most cases, lessons are reserved for the enrolled student. However, if you’d like to send a sibling or friend in their place, please contact your teacher ahead of time to see if that’s an option for that particular lesson.
