What You’ll Learn
Students will develop both technical skills and musicality, with an emphasis on:
- Chords, strumming, and fingerpicking techniques
- Reading tabs and notation
- Rhythm and lead playing
- Improvisation and soloing
- Music theory for guitar made fun and practical

- Kids (ages 6+) – Our instructors create a patient, encouraging environment that’s perfect for young learners
- Teens – Develop your own sound, play the music you love, and learn valuable skills for band or solo performance
- Music School Prep (optional): repertoire selection, practical theory & ear training, sight-reading benchmarks, mock auditions, and portfolio guidance for audition-bound high-school players.
- Adults – Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning to guitar, we’ll help you meet your goals with flexible, personalized lessons.

Bring Your Own Instrument (required)
Students must own a playable guitar and bring it to every lesson. We keep a few spares for emergencies/variety, but consistent progress requires your own guitar at home for daily practice. Not sure what to buy?
Use the trial lesson to get sizing and gear recommendations (acoustic vs. electric, strap height, string gauge, setup, amp/cable basics).
Practice, Perform, and Shine
Regular attendance and practice are essential for musical growth. We encourage students to commit to consistent lessons and participate in our biannual recitals. These performances offer a valuable opportunity to showcase progress, boost confidence, and share music in a supportive, low-pressure setting. Participation is tailored to each student’s comfort level and stage of development, ensuring everyone can shine.
